Overview
A leading UK Challenger Bank is seeking a proactive and commercially astute Client Manager to join a well-established Invoice Finance team in Manchester. You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 40-45 clients across factoring and invoice discounting facilities, with funds in use of up to £3m.
This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in invoice finance, in either a Client Manager role already or is ready for the next step up and is currently a Client Executive or Relationship Executive role.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of invoice finance clients (c. 40-45) with facilities up to £3m
- Maintain oversight of client security positions and facility structures
- Deliver exceptional service to maximise client retention and satisfaction
- Drive income growth through fee optimisation and cross-selling opportunities
- Conduct annual and ad hoc client reviews, including facility amendments
- Identify and refer new business opportunities from within the portfolio
- Ensure full compliance with governance, regulatory, and reporting standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing invoice finance clients, or strong exposure in a junior client-facing role
- Solid understanding of credit, risk, and financial analysis
- Strong relationship building skills across client and internal stakeholder groups
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Analytical mindset with a good head for numbers
- Full UK driving licence
