I’m working on a brand-new mandate with a well-established UK commercial bank that combines a strong balance sheet with a genuinely relationship-led, pragmatic credit culture. The bank is part-way through a 5-year strategic growth plan to significantly expand its lending book, underpinned by a clear appetite to lend and the internal resource to support experienced Relationship Directors in originating and structuring larger, more complex transactions.
This is a London-focused Relationship Director role, created for an experienced corporate/commercial banker operating comfortably in the £5m–£15m+ deal space, with the credibility, network and judgement to lead sizeable lending relationships from origination through to completion and ongoing management.
