A leading property finance business is looking to appoint a Lettings Administrator to support its growing property portfolio team based in Manchester. This is a busy, detail-focused role sitting within a wider asset and finance environment, ensuring the smooth administration of lettings activity across financed residential and/or commercial properties.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of coordination between tenants, landlords, letting agents, and internal finance/asset management teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support across all lettings activity within the property finance portfolio
- Process tenancy applications, referencing checks, and supporting documentation
- Prepare, issue, and track tenancy agreements and related paperwork
- Maintain accurate records across property management and internal finance systems
- Liaise with tenants, landlords, and external letting agents to ensure smooth tenancy progression
- Assist with property onboarding and compliance documentation (e.g. safety certificates, tenancy records)
- Handle day-to-day administrative duties including inbox management, data entry, and correspondence
- Previous experience in lettings administration, property management support, or a similar administrative role preferred
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to deal professionally with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Interest in property, real estate finance, or asset management desirable
- Experience within property finance, brokerage, or lending environments
- Familiarity with tenancy legislation and compliance processes
- Experience using CRM or property management systems
