An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, highly regarded restructuring and insolvency practice as an Assistant Manager within its Birmingham team. This role would suit an existing Assistant Manager seeking greater exposure, autonomy and development, or an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator ready to step up.

The Role

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, primarily Administrations and CVLs, taking an active role from initial client contact through to case closure. The position offers strong responsibility, stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to help develop junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure
  • Supporting and attending client meetings, helping drive cases to appointment
  • Preparing statutory reports and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Managing multiple workstreams and stakeholder relationships
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing junior staff
  • Building internal and external professional relationships
  • Contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environment

About You

  • Corporate insolvency experience across multiple processes (Administrations/CVLs preferred)
  • Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively
  • Confident dealing with stakeholders and high-risk issues
  • Accountancy and/or insolvency qualifications desirable but not essential
