Job Description
A leading challenger bank in the commercial finance sector is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to join their team. This role involves providing high-level service and support to a relationship management team while overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of account management tasks and the analysis of complex financial information, including statutory accounts, management accounts, cash flows, budgets, and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support relationship managers with day-to-day portfolio management.
- Analyse and interpret financial data to support credit and operational decisions.
- Assist with managing risk, including follow-ups on audits, verifications, and trend investigations.
- Join client visits and new client take-ons as required.
- Provide additional support to operations during peak workflow periods, including tasks such as MER, cash processing, and schedules.

- Experience in commercial or corporate lending
- A sound understanding of asset-based lending (ABL) products
- Strong interpersonal skills, preferably with client-facing experience
