Our client is an established lender who has serviced thousands of customers across the UK. They offer flexible secured loan facilities to UK businesses and are very well capitalised with a huge appetite to lend and grow. Due to their continued success and further recent investment, we are now looking to expand the team further, in particular, we are looking for a Credit Manager who is established, with a proven track record in underwriting business loans. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved early, to help shape processes, drive growth, and influence the business as it scales up.
This role sits within their Business Loans division, which prides itself on providing flexible, fair, and responsible lending and is able to offer small businesses the tools they need to grow. They are now looking to appoint a Credit Underwriter to join the existing team based in Altrincham.
As a Credit Underwriter, you will be responsible for influencing both automated and human decision processes, assessing ongoing credit risk, and being an essential part of their risk function. You will be integral to help define the strategy as the business continues to expand.
