Looking to build your career in bridging finance with one of the market's most entrepreneurial specialist lenders?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, privately funded specialist property lender with an excellent reputation in the bridging finance market.
The business has built its success by combining experienced, commercial decision-making with exceptional service, enabling brokers to move quickly and complete deals with confidence.
Specialising in bridging finance for residential, semi-commercial and commercial property transactions, they've developed a reputation for finding practical lending solutions where others can't.
Their relationship-led approach, fast turnaround times and innovative in-house valuation model give brokers genuine confidence and a compelling reason to keep coming back.
As lending volumes continue to grow, they're investing in their sales team with the appointment of a Telephone Business Development Manager.
This is far more than a traditional internal sales role.
You'll become a trusted contact for brokers, learning the intricacies of bridging finance, deal structuring and relationship management while developing the skills and experience to progress into a field-based Business Development Manager position.
Being office-based five days a week means you'll work alongside experienced underwriters, decision-makers and business developers every day, giving you unrivalled exposure to complex bridging cases, broker conversations and the full lending process.
The Role
- Working with brokers across the specialist property finance market, you'll:
- Develop and strengthen relationships with new and existing broker partners.
- Handle inbound enquiries and proactively contact brokers to generate new business opportunities.
- Discuss lending scenarios, understand clients' requirements and identify suitable funding solutions.
- Promote the lender's specialist proposition, including its fast, relationship-led approach and unique in-house valuation process that helps brokers complete deals more efficiently.
- Work closely with underwriting and case management to ensure applications progress smoothly from enquiry through to completion.
- Maintain regular contact with intermediaries to maximise conversion rates and encourage repeat business.
- Keep abreast of market activity and competitor trends while identifying opportunities to grow your broker network.
- Who We're Looking For
• This role would suit someone with experience in
- Specialist property finance, bridging, buy-to-let, commercial lending or mortgages.
- Working with brokers or intermediary partners.
- Telephone-based business development, sales or account management.
- A target-driven environment where relationship building is central to success.
- Most importantly, you'll be commercially minded, enjoy speaking with people, and be looking for a business where you can develop a long-term career rather than simply fill another sales role.
What's on Offer?
- Competitive salary & performance-related bonus.
- Office-based in Altrincham (Monday to Friday)
- Genuine opportunity to progress into an external Business Development Manager role.
- Daily exposure to experienced lending professionals, helping you develop your technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Join an ambitious, entrepreneurial lender where good ideas are welcomed, decisions are made quickly, and you'll have genuine visibility across the business.
- A market-leading lending proposition that gives brokers a compelling reason to do business with you.
If you're looking to build your career with a specialist lender that's growing for the right reasons, values relationships over bureaucracy, and offers genuine long-term progression, we'd love to hear from you.
