This is a newly created BDM role due to team expansion within a high-growth, entrepreneurial property lender that is doing brilliantly in the specialist lending space. This is a Telephone BDM role working directly with brokers and introducers, learning the products, criteria, deal structuring and relationship management skills. You’ll be speaking with experienced brokers daily, understanding deals, advising on lending appetite and helping convert enquiries into applications, gaining fantastic exposure.
What you’ll be doing:
- Handling inbound enquiries from brokers and customers
- Making proactive outbound calls to introducers and prospective clients
- Qualifying new lending opportunities and assessing suitability
- Advising brokers on products, criteria and deal structure
- Promoting the lender’s proposition and appetite
- Following up to convert enquiries into formal applications
- Working closely with underwriting and case management to progress deals
- Building strong relationships with intermediaries
- Working towards new business and conversion targets
- Keeping up to date with market activity and competitor offerings
