At Fintel, we’re passionate about helping our people thrive. As our HR Co‑ordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering a positive employee experience, supporting our HR operations, and helping us continue to build a people‑first culture across the business.
Role Overview
You’ll be learning and supporting on all aspects of HR operations. This will entail using our various HR systems and Microsoft Office. You’ll communicate with new joiners, existing colleagues and external stakeholders and will need to be a confident and clear communicator.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with onboarding new employees into our business – making sure they have a really positive start to their Fintel career
- Supporting off‑boarding processes as employees leave the business
- Preparing offer letters, contracts and HR documentation with accuracy and care
- Co‑ordinating HR inductions for new starters to help them feel welcomed and informed
- Maintaining employee records, ensuring data is accurate and kept up to date
- Supporting payroll and benefits administration to help ensure smooth monthly processing
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing helpful guidance and escalating where needed
- Supporting HR initiatives around wellbeing, engagement and culture
What We’re Looking For
- Great attention to detail and pride yourself on accurate work
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Enjoy being helpful and providing a great service to others
- Strong communication skills and enjoy working with people
- Some experience in administration, ideally within HR – we’re also open to those looking to step into HR for the first time with the right attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience using HR systems would be an advantage, but training will be provided
- Curious, hungry to learn and a good listener
Qualifications
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 5 / C or higher
- A professional HR qualification isn’t essential but if you’re not already studying towards a CIPD qualification, we’d love it if you’re up for the challenge of doing so (and will support you) as this will help you learn your craft and provide a great foundation for development.
