With over 500 Associates nationwide, all of our Associates and in-house staff are fully qualified in advising on will writing, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts as well as probate services.
We are recruiting for a part-time Office Administrator to join our probate team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be completing administration work to support our Probate Case Managers and general day-to-day office administration.
Role OverviewYour main responsibility will be to triage inbound calls from our clients and associates. You will handle their general queries in a professional manner and refer on to the appropriate Case Manager. Generally, you will support the head of department and the wider team with the completion of administrative tasks and manage projects when necessary. You will need to be able to work autonomously as well as liaising regularly with your colleagues and the wider company. This is an office based role and you will work 24 hours over 3 days on Monday, Thursday and one other day to be agreed.
What you’ll be doing- Opening and setting up new cases on our probate software
- Management of post, processing, filing and logging correspondence
- Communicating and maintaining a relationship with clients and associates
- Liaising with solicitors and other third parties in relation to the probate application
- Dropping off and collecting documents locally to Solicitors, Bank etc
- Managing projects to update current processes
- Confident in using Microsoft applications
- Tech savvy and can learn new software quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build rapport with internal teams and external customers
- Work independently as well as collaboratively
- Self-motivated with a ‘can do’, solution-driven attitude to problem solving
- A willingness to learn and understand the legal system surrounding estate administration, wills and probate
- Legal experience desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
Based at our offices within the Worksop Turbine - 24 hours each week.
