About the role
We're looking for a Solution Architect to design enterprise architecture solutions, lead teams, and ensure projects' success, specifically with expertise in insurance industry solutions . This role will require not only deep technical proficiency but also a strong understanding of how technology can solve challenges unique to the insurance sector.

Responsibilities
- Design enterprise architecture solutions that align with long-term business objectives, with a focus on insurance industry needs.
- Lead architectural reviews and collaborate with business leaders to manage risks created by the use of technology.
- Act as a technical liaison between management, product teams, business stakeholders, and development teams.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise on design, debugging, and performance analysis for insurance-related solutions.
- Champion significant projects and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity, particularly within the insurance space.
- Reduce technical risks by participating in proof-of-concept work tailored to insurance-specific use cases.
- Establish credibility and build deep relationships with senior technical staff to generate shared understanding and relate their challenges to the FintechOS platform strategy.
- Participate in deep architectural and requirement analysis discussions for insurance products , helping build client confidence and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions.
- Provide guidance on best practices for adopting the FintechOS platform for insurance solutions , ensuring adherence to architectural standards and industry regulations.
- Design data models and integration approaches to ensure data consistency, quality, and security across insurance systems (e.g., claims processing, policy management, underwriting).
- Conduct customer-focused presentations and technical product demonstrations specific to insurance technologies.
Skills
Must have
- Proven design and implementation experience with enterprise-scale systems , including those in the insurance industry .
- Strong understanding of insurance domain processes such as policy lifecycle management, claims processing, underwriting workflows, and customer experience optimization.
- Communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with management, product/business stakeholders, and developers.
- Knowledge of programming languages and development frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Java, C#, Python, Go, etc.).
- Familiarity with insurance regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17) and how they impact technology solutions.
- Experience with data integration, modelling, and governance for insurance-specific systems.
- Ability to distill key technical challenges from business requirements and outline possible solutions.
- Hands-on experience in client-facing roles, particularly in the insurance sector.
- Familiarity with Rest APIs, Microservices Architecture , and their applications in insurance systems.
Nice to have
- Experience designing cloud-based architectures (e.g., Azure) for insurance solutions.
- Knowledge of emerging insurance technologies such as telematics, IoT in insurance, or AI for underwriting and claims.
- Hands-on experience with insurance core systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar platforms).
