The Role:
As a Solicitor – Associate / Senior Associate in the Private Client department, you’ll handle a wide range of high-value and complex matters, including:
- Estate and succession planning for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and agricultural clients across Scotland.
- Management of multi-million-pound executries and family trust work.
- Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Living Wills.
- Establishing and managing family trusts and charities, including personal injury trusts.
- Advising on Inheritance Tax and Capital Tax planning.
- Contributing to the team’s business development strategy and delivering CPD updates.
About You:
- 4+ years’ PQE in Private Client work.
- Scottish Qualified Solicitor.
- STEP qualification is desirable (or a desire to obtain—fully supported by the firm).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- A proactive, client-focused approach and a passion for delivering sector-leading advice.
- A team player eager to engage in business development and expand the firm’s Private Client offering.
