Fintech-Rec recruit on behalf of some of the most recognised brands within FX, FinTech and Payments. Our client is seeking to hire a suitable candidate for the Junior FX Broker position to join their growing corporate department - ideally with a basic knowledge and understanding of deliverable FX.

Your role will be to develop and maintain new business for a corporate FX desk. Ideally, you will have an understanding of the deliverable FX product range (knowledge of Spot & Forward contracts would serve to your advantage), but the real focus for this role is ensuring the candidate has a solid B2B sales mindset or background, strong communication abilities and a passion for financial markets.

Requirements

  • Generate new business sales targeting UK and European SME & corporate businesses
  • Engaging directors and decision makers of medium-large businesses across a diverse range of industries & sectors
  • Utilise tools and corporate databases like CreditSafe to ensure you are targeting key accounts and businesses we are better positioned to help.
  • Develop relationships with your clients to understand their business better and how they are exposed in FX - the goal is to offer the right FX hedging solution once you understand how the customer is challenged & exposed.
  • Understanding the mentality of solutions sales and having emotional intelligence is vital to being successful with this role.
  • Work closely with your sales team and strategists to build and present valuable risk management solutions to clients - in time learning how to develop these solutions yourself.
  • Develop trusted relationships with your existing portfolio of clients to retain their business and grow your portfolio.
  • Develop corporate partnerships and affiliate relationships
  • Keep yourself up to date with the latest market news - ensuring trends and forecasts are reacted upon and your clients are aware of any volatility before / as it takes place - offering customers the best hedging strategy within the FX industry.
  • The successful candidate will need to be articulate and confident to display a clear level of knowledge and competence when liaising with corporate FX clients who must be able to perform consistently in a role that is vital to the growth of the business.
