Company Overview

Our client specialises in helping businesses navigate the complex world of currency risk management. Their innovative solutions empower companies to protect their bottom line and seize international opportunities with confidence. They are seeking a FX Broker with a FX Business Development Background to join the team and play a pivotal role in the company's expansion.

They are seeking to hire a candidate with strong sales acumen, ideally from within FX (similar financial and sales markets will also be considered), to step up into the next stage of their career into a FX Broker. Your role will be to develop and maintain retail, corporate and institutional relationships, ensuring the growth of both new business and add to your existing book. You will be outgoing, confident and rise to challenges. Ideally, you will be degree educated in a relatable subject (Finance, Economics, Business, etc.) or at the very least have a true interest and passion for FX.

What is required above and beyond anything else is a grounded attitude, the motivation to work in a tough industry such as FX and the persistence to succeed - even when you fail. The ideal candidate is likely someone who is 2-3 years into their FX career and has still not yet received the step up they feel they deserve. You will be expected to onboard new businesses - ensuring you target clients in line with the business's objectives. To do this, the business will provide you with a corporate database and as you achieve targets over the months you will be provided team members to assist with cold calling and ensure you are utilising your time with key accounts. Candidates with B2B sales experience only please. You must have a solid understanding of FX and corporate risk management.

Requirements

  • Researching and qualifying potential clients to build a database of leads
  • Engaging and consulting with C-level executives of medium-large businesses (£30m - £300m) across a diverse range of sectors.
  • Cold calling will be your primary and preferred method of initially engaging opportunities
  • You will learn about your clients' businesses and work to explore and uncover key problems and challenges, whilst educating them on how the company's solutions can solve them
  • You will work closely with analysts and strategists to build and present valuable risk management solutions to clients - in time learning how to develop these solutions yourself
  • You will develop trusted relationships with your existing portfolio of clients to retain their business and grow your portfolio
  • You will keep up to date with the latest market news, ensuring trends and forecasts are reacted upon and your clients are aware of any volatility within FX (before it takes place) to ensure we are offering customers the best hedging strategy within the industry
  • The successful Candidate will need to be articulate, and confident to display a clear level of knowledge and competence when liaising with corporate FX clients - must be able to perform consistently in a role that is vital to the growth of the business

This opportunity would suit someone already within FX sales. Ideally someone who is working with a larger organisation or someone with a couple of years' experience who is looking to become a key member of the team.

Salary Package

  • Basic Salary - Up to £60,000 DOE
  • Bonus & Commission (OTE. Year 1 = 75k+)
  • Growth and Progression
  • Contributory Pension
  • Equity and Shares are available for high performers
  • Sponsored Industry Qualifications such as CF30
  • Working with some of the most prestigious brands in deliverable FX
  • Plus Additional benefits, please enquire.
