A market leading FinTech organisation are seeking a Lending Operations Manager to oversee a high performing team responsible for reviewing, verifying, and authorising supplier‑related finance activity across a portfolio of SME clients.
Duties include:
- Provide day to day direction, support and development of a high performing lending operations team.
- Establish clear expectations, track operational output, and ensure targets and quality measures are consistently met.
- Maintain accountability for operational excellence across all processes.
- Serve as the main point of escalation for complex or sensitive operational matters.
- Ensure smooth and timely transactional processes.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams, including product, legal, and credit to build and refine operational processes.
- Continuously review existing procedures to identify inefficiencies, simplify user journeys, and recommend enhancements.
- Implement scalable processes and procedures to support increasing volumes and business growth.
- Ensure all operational practices align with regulatory requirements governing lending and trade activity.
Skills and experience required:
- Background in SME finance, trade operations or similar credit‑focused environments.
- Familiarity with FX instruments and how they integrate into lending workflows.
- Ability to guide and coach teams within fast‑moving, evolving environments such as fintech or scaling financial services organisations.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
