FINTEC recruit is supporting for a Senior Civil Design Engineer working within civils engineering design team. The role is based in the Greater Manchester region, permanent and is up to circa £50,000 negotiable by experience plus benefits/contributory pension.
Responsibilities:
- Produce design calculations and drawings.
- Prepare design investigations, reports and specifications.
- Design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and group standards.
- Ensure project change for design package is fully implemented and recorded.
- Mentor/direct and develop CAD technicians and more junior designers and graduates.
- Estimate hours required for design packages.
Skills and experience required for the Senior Civil Design Engineer:
- 5-10 years' relevant design experience in structural and/or civil engineering.
- Degree or HND qualified.
- Good IT skills.
- Registered with professional body and working towards chartership or willing to work towards.
