About the Role

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a fast-growing UK business and take charge of a varied pipeline of in-house projects, from redevelopments and new builds to fit-outs and mixed-use schemes. You’ll be trusted to drive projects forward, solve problems, manage budgets and keep everything moving — with direct access to senior leadership and real visibility across the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll own projects from early planning through to handover, making sure they’re delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard. If you enjoy variety, autonomy and getting stuck into projects where you can make a visible impact, this could be a great next move.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on commercial new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects, including steel portal frame developments.
  • Keep projects moving from concept to completion, bringing together internal teams, suppliers and contractors.
  • Set clear scopes, plans and objectives so everyone knows what needs to happen and when.
  • Stay on top of budgets, schedules, resources, risks and changes throughout each project.
  • Report progress clearly to senior management and flag any issues before they become problems.
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Make sure projects are delivered safely, compliantly and to the required standard.

Why Apply?

  • Real project ownership, not just coordination.
  • Direct exposure to senior decision-makers.
  • A varied pipeline of live and upcoming developments.
  • Strong earning potential through project completion bonus.
  • A stable, growing business with room to progress.

Benefits

  • £40,000 basic salary with £50,000–£70,000 OTE
  • Project completion bonus
  • Car mileage allowance
  • Employee discount for friends and family
  • Internal progression opportunities
  • Free on-site parking

About You

  • Proven experience managing construction, fit-out, refurbishment or building projects.
  • Experience with new build steel portal frame buildings.
  • Confidence leading projects from start to finish.
  • Strong budgeting, planning, reporting and project analysis skills.
  • Comfortable managing contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Experience using project management software, such as (url removed) or similar.
  • QS skills would be a strong advantage.
  • RICS qualification preferred, but not essential.
