An excellent opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Fitter to join a large manufacturing facility in the Highland region. This is a full-time permanent role that would involve working shifts with an excellent salary and benefit package.
Responsibilities:
- Repair of mechanical breakdowns
- Carry out preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Identify and report any signs of equipment failure
- Ensure all documentation is kept up to date
- Install and commission equipment and services
- Adopt and maintain good engineering and housekeeping procedures
- Assist with other engineering work when and where required
Skills and Experience required for the Mechanical Fitter role:
- City & Guilds / ONC qualification or similar in a mechanical discipline who has completed a 4-year apprenticeship
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred
- A strong health and safety awareness and the ability to work unsupervised
