Gas Assessor
Location: Manchester
Rate: £350–£400 per day (Depending on Experience)
Our client an established and growing gas training provider is seeking an experienced Gas Trainer / Assessorto join its expanding ACS centre in Manchester on an associate basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable industry professional who is passionate about developing others and maintaining high standards within the gas sector. The successful candidate will deliver training and undertake ACS assessments, with a particular focus on gas metering qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective gas metering training programmes.
- Conduct ACS assessments in line with industry standards and awarding body requirements.
- Support candidates throughout their training and assessment journey.
- Maintain accurate records and assessment documentation.
- Ensure all training activities comply with current legislation, standards, and best practice.
- Contribute to the continued development of training materials and delivery methods.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Significant hands-on experience within the gas metering industry.
- Previous experience delivering training and/or carrying out assessments.
- Relevant ACS qualifications and a strong understanding of current gas regulations.
- Assessor qualifications (e.g., A1, D32/D33, CAVA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
