Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Production Operator to join their team at their Inverness site on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing, production, or continuous operating environment who is looking to build a long-term career with a well-established organisation.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the successful candidate will operate and maintain plant and machinery to expected standards, support safe and efficient production, and ensure all work is completed in line with company Health and Safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain plant and machinery to expected standards in line with company Health and Safety policy.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with QA manual requirements.
- Monitor and control the working area, carrying out checks and basic maintenance as required.
- Monitor equipment operating parameters, maintain accurate logs, and report deviations or process interruptions to relevant personnel.
- Support fire safety procedures and monitor fire-fighting equipment in conjunction with the fire team leader.
- Ensure Planned Maintenance is carried out in line with manufacturer recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and promote a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
- Liaise with other departments to support the safe and efficient running of the area.
- Assist with hazard identification, risk assessments, and the development and review of Safe Systems of Work.
- Follow operational EHS procedures and ensure all EHS incidents are reported.
About You

You should be qualified to Higher Education level or have suitable relevant experience, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and accurate record keeping.
