The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Fitter to join a large manufacturing facility in the Highland region. This is a full-time permanent role that would involve working shifts with an excellent salary and benefit package.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair of mechanical breakdowns
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
  • Identify and report any signs of equipment failure
  • Ensure all documentation is kept up to date
  • Install and commission equipment and services
  • Adopt and maintain good engineering and housekeeping procedures
  • Assist with other engineering work when and where required

Skills and Experience required for the Mechanical Fitter role:

  • City & Guilds / ONC qualification or similar in a mechanical discipline who has completed a 4-year apprenticeship
  • Industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • A strong health and safety awareness and the ability to work unsupervised
