FINTEC recruit is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer for our client based in Lochaber. This is a permanent position, relocation package available, salary details on application, plus 10% bonus scheme and many company benefits. You will be providing control systems expertise to lead complex control system process troubleshooting. Working Monday to Thursday – 7:30am – 4pm and on Friday 7:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. Responsibilities: To maintain site control systems minimising breakdown times To lead site control system maintenance projects, supporting site electrical engineering Identify, implement and develop control system and equipment improvements To supervise and coach/mentor technicians and engineers Maintain and updating all drawings associated with site controls systems and projects Ensuring compliance of all relevant legislation relating to site control equipment and with site HSEQ standards Skills and Qualifications required for the Controls & Automation Engineer role: Electrical and instrumentation knowledge. Experienced in controls and automation engineering Qualified to HND or above in an engineering discipline PLC, HMI and SCADA experience. PLC programming skills Experience working in a COMAH environment. Good understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation.
