FINTEC recruit is seeking Class2 Drivers for our manufacturing/production client based in Perth.
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 44 hours per week, hourly rate £15.19 per hour, any overtime paid at enhanced rates.
You will be wearing company uniform on all customer visits. Using Personal Protective Equipment and handling aids, where supplied for all relevant tasks
Responsibilities:
- Delivering and returning stock to the plant in Perth.
- Making deliveries to a designated route in Scotland
- To load vehicle and off-load into designated areas ensuring right supply of stock
- Completing all the necessary documentation adhering to company policies and standards
- Maintaining good customer relationships
- Maintain the security of the vehicle and contents at all times & carry out vehicle checks
- Take part in regular health and safety training.
Skills and Experience required for the Class2 Driver roles:
- Hold a Class 2 – Category C driving licence
- Full knowledge and skills to use technology and systems including tachographs, adaptivebraking, hand-held scanners or board telematics
- Previously held a similar role with knowledge of vehicle preparation with safe coupling & uncoupling of trailers, securing and unloading processes, axle combinations.
- Experience of Performing vehicle checks & safety of delivery of goods & off loading
- Good communication skills & experience of dealing with customer queries and customer relations.
