We are looking for an experienced Business Improvement & Sustainability Coordinator for a 4 month contract based in Edinburgh, working with a prestigious marine business in focussing on their environmental reporting, carbon reduction initiatives and business improvement activities across the organisation.  This role is PAYE /inside IR35, paid weekly. Key Responsibilities Coordinate Greening Government Commitments (GGC) liaising and coordinating with other relevant government departments. Maintain and develop Carbon Management and Climate Change Adaptation Plans. Support delivery of sustainability initiatives including Water, Nature Recovery, Commuter Travel and Sustainable Procurement programmes. Deliver sustainability training and promote environmental best practice across the business. Support process improvement projects and organisational performance reporting. Assist with internal audits, compliance monitoring and legislative requirements. Coordinate sustainability governance meetings and reporting. Skills and Qualifications required for this Business Improvement & Sustainability role: Degree qualified in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business Improvement or a related discipline. Experience in sustainability reporting, carbon management or environmental compliance.  Able to Chair meetings Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficient with Microsoft 365, Excel and ideally Power BI. Knowledge of ISO management systems and internal auditing would be advantageous.
