FINTEC recruit is seeking a Cost Engineer for our client in Lancashire. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, office based, flexible working. This role will support the project delivery team throughout the project lifecycle from concept through to delivery and tracking contract project costs. Salary is negotiable by experience plus benefits.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly cost forecasts for projects with liaison with internal team manager
- Monitoring and tracking costs and assessing any commercial risks
- Leading on project meetings with internal teams and stakeholders, discussing variances, forecasts and risks etc
- Managing and reviewing project cashflows and revenue in line with budgets and key project cost milestones
Skills and Experience
- Experience as a Cost Engineer or Commercial & Contract budgeting for projects
- Good Accountancy and Finance knowledge, familiar with ERP systems
- Experience of project forecasting
- Good communication skills, able to lead at meetings for internal and external stakeholders
