FINTEC recruit is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for our international manufacturing client based in the Glasgow region. This is a permanent role with a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide design solutions for the lifecycle of projects
  • Create engineering documentation e.g. specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures and reports
  • Check electrical drawings, adhere to standards and regulations

Skills and Experience required for the Electrical Design Engineer role:

  • Experience in electrical and electronics design
  • Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
  • Generate design calculations
  • Using design software tools such as CAD packages
  • Product design experience an advantage, particularly with DC systems
  • Experience with product lifecycle management system for engineering packages
