FINTEC recruit is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for our international manufacturing client based in the Glasgow region. This is a permanent role with a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Provide design solutions for the lifecycle of projects
- Create engineering documentation e.g. specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures and reports
- Check electrical drawings, adhere to standards and regulations
Skills and Experience required for the Electrical Design Engineer role:
- Experience in electrical and electronics design
- Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience
- Generate design calculations
- Using design software tools such as CAD packages
- Product design experience an advantage, particularly with DC systems
- Experience with product lifecycle management system for engineering packages
