Senior Physiotherapist position in an outpatient musculoskeletal team at an NHS Trust in Leeds. The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload and provide mentorship to junior staff in a supportive, world-class healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate evidence-based treatment plans for musculoskeletal conditions.
- Deliver high-quality manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and trust standards.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
- Supervise and support junior physiotherapists and assistants.
- Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) and clinical audit activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
- Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) – or eligibility to register.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong focus in musculoskeletal/outpatient settings.
- Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Valid IELTS certificate with a score of 7.0+ (or OET equivalent) if you are a non-UK trained applicant.
- Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
- Post-graduate training in areas such as acupuncture, sports therapy, or injection therapy.
- Experience working within the NHS or a similar public health system.
