About the Company
Finspire are proud to be partnering with a high growth, PE backed professional services business based in Central London to recruit a Senior Credit Manager, Order to Cash. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior credit, collections or order to cash professional who enjoys getting into the detail, improving processes and making a real commercial impact. The business has grown significantly over recent years and is entering an exciting period of change. As part of this growth, they are now looking to appoint someone who can take ownership of the credit and collections process, improve cash visibility and help drive stronger performance across the full order to cash cycle.
The business needs someone who can review the full ledger, understand where cash is being delayed, identify process gaps and provide clear, accurate forecasting to senior finance leadership. You will work closely with the Finance Director, wider finance team and commercial stakeholders to improve collections, reduce debtor days and create a more robust credit and cash process.
Job Requirements
- Take ownership of the credit, collections and order to cash process across the business
- Review the debtor ledger and identify key areas of risk, delay and opportunity
- Analyse aged debt across 30, 60 and 90 days plus, providing clear insight and recommendations
- Improve cash forecasting and provide senior finance leadership with stronger visibility on expected collections
- Drive improvements across debtor days, cash collection performance and working capital discipline
- Review legacy debt and make clear recommendations on recoverability, escalation and next steps
- Implement stronger credit policies, collections processes and reporting frameworks
- Work closely with sales, finance and senior stakeholders to resolve blockers and improve cash outcomes
- Identify leakage across the cash cycle and recommend practical, commercially sensible improvements
- Support, develop and review the current credit team, raising standards and accountability
- Improve the use of systems, data and reporting across the credit and collections function
- Provide regular insight to senior finance leadership around cash performance, risks and opportunities
- Help create a more robust, scalable and commercially focused order to cash process
Key Person Requirements
- A strong Senior Credit Manager, Head of Credit, OTC Manager or Credit and Collections Manager
- Experience within legal environments would be highly preferred
- Experience managing a sizeable ledger within a complex business environment
- Strong aged debt analysis, cash forecasting and collections performance experience
- Proven experience improving credit, collections or order to cash processes
- Strong systems capability, ideally with NetSuite or a similar ERP system
- Confident managing stakeholders across finance, sales, commercial teams and senior leadership
- Able to challenge in the right way, build trust quickly and influence positive change
- Comfortable operating at both a strategic and detailed level
- Commercial, analytical and process minded, with a clear focus on cash, control and performance
- Hands on, resilient and confident working in a fast paced, evolving business
