Our client is a leading Private Equity fund with a global presence. On behalf of their Technology Team, we are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys owning end-to-end reporting solutions and working closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, actionable insights.

Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports
- Use Excel as a primary data source, ensuring stable connections, refresh schedules, and data accuracy
- Build, enhance, and optimise data models following best-practice principles
- Integrate Power BI with Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and APIs
- Take ownership of existing Power BI reports, datasets, and models, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into clear, user-friendly reporting solutions
- Apply best practices for governance, performance optimisation, and documentation
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer delivering production-grade dashboards
- Strong understanding of data modelling and Power BI performance optimisation
- Confident stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering skills
- Experience working within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
Nice to Have
- Background in private equity or financial services
- SQL and Azure SQL data warehouse experience
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted reporting tools
