We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Payments Analyst to join our Settlements team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in the Fin Tech industry.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day execution of operational activities related to Payments.
Initially, the focus will be on learning core business processes and ensuring daily activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in payments and operations in a fast-growing publically listed, multi-jurisdictional organisation.
Alongside daily operational responsibilities, you'll work collaboratively with external teams and be encouraged to identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and contribute to operational change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily operational tasks across Payments functions.
- Monitor payment processing to ensure transactions are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Ensure operational procedures are followed to ensure both internal and client requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve payment queries and support smooth day-to-day processing.
- Assist with incident management by identifying, investigating, and helping resolve operational issues.
- Contribute ideas for improving operational processes, controls, and efficiencies.
- Develop a strong understanding of payment schemes, banking operations, and settlement processes.
