The Problem This Role Solves
The finance team currently consists of an FD and Finance Manager (APAC focused). With 11 entities live, bank recs, payment runs, month-ends, client requests, audits, and filings have exploded. They need a UK-based operator to own UK entity ops. The UK entity is freshly opened.
Role Scope
- Audit and statutory filing support across 11 entities.
- Own: UK payroll, payments, bank recs, month-end, statutory filings (via tax partner), VAT.
- Support: Group consolidation, intercompany recs, FP absorb ad hocs off APAC plate.
Success Metrics
- 3 Months: Owns bulk of UK ops—payments, recs, full month-end, payroll/admin—running independently.
- 6-12 Months: End-to-end UK ownership; key contributor to group reporting/ad hocs (UAE/Singapore). Upskilled in FP Xero/NetSuite (or similar); Rippling payroll.

- FCA-regulated experience (client money/reporting) for future UK licensing.
- FP multi-entity/multi-currency consolidation.
