Overview
This is what you’ll actually do! In this role, you will develop and own the overall marketing strategy, ensuring it aligns with wider business objectives. You will lead the creation of annual marketing plans and campaigns, enhancing the yearly campaign planner through integrated marketing communications and tactics across both online and offline channels. You will provide strategic input to the executive team on market positioning, growth opportunities, and competitor insights, while identifying new business opportunities, market trends, and customer insights to drive innovation. You will also oversee the execution of key marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across all internal and external platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated communications and branding strategy for both internal and external audiences, overseeing brand strategy and corporate messaging to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Manage corporate reputation and ensure alignment between internal and external communications; act as a key spokesperson for the business when required, representing the brand at industry events.
- Coordinate group-wide campaigns across multiple platforms and stakeholders; lead end-to-end planning and delivery of national and international trade shows to maximise brand visibility and ROI; manage budgets, suppliers, contracts, and logistics.
- Collaborate across the business with commercial and sales teams to drive demand generation and customer engagement; ensure cohesive brand representation across marketing, sales, product, and design.
- Work with finance to manage budgets, measure ROI, and support forecasting; align with procurement on supplier partnerships; collaborate with IT and data teams to leverage technology, automation, and analytics.
- Work with NPD and innovation teams to showcase innovation pipelines and consumer trends, positioning the business as a thought leader; partner with People Team to develop and implement employer branding and internal communications.
- Source and manage external agency partnerships to support delivery and budget efficiency.
- Drive digital growth and transformation across the marketing function, leveraging AI, automation, and data-led insights; lead SEO, paid media, content, and social strategies; optimise the end-to-end customer journey across multiple channels; monitor performance metrics to refine strategies for maximum impact.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the business at senior levels; present insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to the board and executive team; build relationships with industry bodies, media, and external partners to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in marketing.
- Experience in managing complex marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong background in B2B and B2C marketing, digital strategy, and brand positioning.
- Strong leadership and strategic decision-making abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Deep expertise in brand management, digital marketing, and performance analytics.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and forecast ROI.
