As our Site Compliance Improvement Lead, you'll become the site expert for compliance, supporting operational teams to continually improve standards across Health & Safety, Food Safety and Sustainability. You'll lead the site's compliance strategy, ensuring robust management systems are embedded and continuously improved. Working collaboratively across departments, you'll coach, influence and challenge leaders to maintain the highest standards while supporting operational excellence. You'll take ownership of key compliance activities including: Leading HACCP governance, reviews, and food safety compliance. Supporting environmental management and sustainability initiatives aligned to our Group ESG strategy. Preparing the site for customer, BRCGS and regulatory audits, acting as the key site contact throughout. Managing risk registers, compliance KPIs and continuous improvement plans. Leading incident investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis and effective corrective actions. Supporting compliance with customer requirements, legal obligations, and internal standards. Partnering with Site Leadership to identify opportunities that improve compliance performance and reduce risk. Providing expert advice, coaching and guidance across the business on compliance-related matters. Success in this role will be measured through strong audit performance, continuous improvement in compliance metrics, enhanced site capability and the development of a positive, proactive compliance culture. Ideally this is you! We're looking for someone who combines technical compliance expertise with strong leadership and influencing skills. You'll ideally have: NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) and/or a Food Science related degree. Previous experience within Health & Safety, Food Safety or Compliance, ideally within food manufacturing. A strong understanding of HACCP, BRCGS standards and compliance management systems. Knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 or similar). Experience leading audits and driving continuous improvement. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to managing risk. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
