This is what you’ll actually do! As an ATM, you’ll be responsible for operating, monitoring and optimising designated manufacturing assets to achieve performance, quality and waste targets while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, compliance and operational discipline. You’ll take ownership of machine condition through autonomous maintenance activities including cleaning, inspection, lubrication, machine set-up and first-line fault finding, ensuring equipment is consistently operating to required standards.

You’ll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving OEE and driving continuous improvement through proactive problem solving, root cause analysis and the effective use of systems such as CMMS to record defects, breakdown trends and machine condition. You’ll also support changeovers, operational priorities and wider site performance objectives through disciplined execution and ownership.

A major part of this role will be developing your technical capability through a Level 2 NVQ Apprenticeship in Asset Care, giving you the opportunity to build recognised qualifications while contributing directly to the success of a high-performing manufacturing operation.
