Operations – Multi skilled Operative – Finsbury Food Group
Location: Ultrapharm – Pontypool
Salary: Days £13.42 per hour, Nights £14.92 per hour
Shift pattern: The shift pattern will depend on the primary area. Available shifts include:
- 5am – 5pm
- 7am – 7pm
- 9am – 9pm
We are looking for Multi‑Skilled Production Operatives to support our safe, high‑quality, and efficient food production operation.
Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day production across the site, moving between lines and tasks to meet operational needs.
- Operate machinery safely, follow production plans, and maintain the highest quality and food safety standards.
- Complete production and compliance paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment using a clean‑as‑you‑go approach.
- Support end‑of‑shift and deep‑cleaning activities.
- Wear correct PPE and comply with health, safety, hygiene, and allergen controls.
- Report any issues or hazards promptly.
- Participate in training and cross‑skilling; support colleagues and provide ASH cover as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in food production or manufacturing (preferred but not essential).
- Confident operating machinery and completing operational paperwork.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Willing to become multi‑skilled through structured training.
- Competent in or willing to train in at least two specialist skill areas.
- Positive, dependable, adaptable, and proactive.
- Proud of high standards in cleanliness and quality.
