Operations – Grade 3 Skilled Operative – Lanham 2
Location: Fletchers Bakeries Ltd, Sheffield
Shift: Rotating shifts of days and nights, working 2 days / 2 nights / 2 off, 11 hours per day
Hourly rate: £17.15
We have an opportunity for a Skilled Operative to join our Operations Team at Fletchers Bakeries. Our Fletchers bakery has over 125 years of baking tradition, with our Kara bakery supplying delicious wholesale bakery products for over 35 years.
The Skilled Operative will work as part of the Production Team coordinating activities within the designated area. These activities will be designed to ensure the efficient and safe manufacture of the finished product to the correct specification, maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout.

In this role, you will support your team with your knowledge and experience to ensure smooth line operations. You will monitor product quality at every stage, making adjustments where necessary to achieve zero customer complaints. You will ensure compliance with technical specifications, plant setup, and quality assurance processes so that performance and product standards are consistently maintained.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping will be a core part of your daily routine to ensure a safe and clean working environment. You will strictly adhere to health and safety practices, promoting safe behaviours and aiming for zero accidents.
