We have a new opportunity for a Brand Manager to join our Marketing team within Finsbury Food Group. Finsbury Food Group is one of the UK’s leading speciality bakery manufacturers. We continually raise quality, innovation, and operational standards while building long-term, trusted relationships across retail, foodservice, and brand partnerships. Our portfolio spans a wide range of bakery categories from market-leading retailer own-brand products to beloved licensed and branded ranges produced across our nationwide network of bakeries.

This is an exciting time to join us. With an ambitious brand growth agenda and a packed pipeline of development activity across our key categories, you’ll play a vital role in elevating brand presence, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting the successful delivery of commercial targets.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and delivery of annual brand plans, ensuring activities align with strategic priorities and contribute to brand growth.
  • Coordinate the execution of campaigns across digital, in-store, and trade channels, ensuring activity lands on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Monitor brand performance, track key metrics, and produce meaningful insights using market and performance data to inform future plans and recommendations.
  • Travel across the business and to key brand partners, attending sites, customer meetings, and agency sessions to gain first-hand insight and ensure effective execution across all touchpoints.
  • Support product launches and range changes, working with NPD, Category, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth delivery from concept to execution; maintain brand assets and ensure messaging is accurate and aligned with guidelines; support briefing, timelines, and budget tracking.
  • Maintain competitor and market insight; contribute to internal brand communications; support brand plan tracking, campaign reporting, and artwork approvals; act with pace and professionalism to support decision-making and maintain strong relationships across the business.
  • Define success by timely and accurate delivery of brand activity, campaign performance metrics, quality of insights, and positive stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in marketing, brand, or product roles (placements welcome).
  • Experience working with agencies, suppliers, or cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of brand and marketing fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret data and generate insight-driven recommendations.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in trade marketing desirable.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (desirable).
  • Professional certification (CIM/IPA) beneficial.
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Customer and consumer focused with the ability to deliver at pace.
  • Collaborative team player, able to build effective relationships.
