This is what you’ll actually do! In this busy and varied role you will be a vital part of the training team and you will be responsible for creating, leading and coordinating the delivery of a structured plan for all operational training requirements between Assembly and Sub-Assembly areas. You will be required to continuously monitor the gap of skills and support Area Managers and First Line Managers to ensure continuity of operational performance and adherence to quality expectations. An important part of the role will be the creation of standard operating procedures across both Assembly and Sub-Assembly areas and updating these as required. Strong communication skills are a key part of this role as you will be required to deliver weekly training plans to all stakeholders and implement and present the training management suite. This will include the onboarding of the shop floor team to deliver key skills requirements. Other key areas of the role which you would be responsible for will include identifying key employees to assist in the delivery of the training plan and working with them to enhance engagement. You will be an organised individual who is computer literate, confident in the use of Excel who will also be confident in managing a large number of training files. As a training coordinator you will be working in a fast moving and constantly changing environment, balancing the demands of customers, management and staff. You will work closely with the site operations team and therefore you will need to be able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders. You will promote correct health and safety practices and set an example to others and it is key that you are passionate about the delivery and implementation of training.
