Overview
Development β NPD Project Coordinator role at Finsbury Food Group β Sheffield, UK. This is a full-time position within the Development team, with occasional travel to other sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the Point 74 gate process, NPD tracker & Power BI reporting system.
- Understand project timelines and communicate effectively with all departments to maintain momentum.
- Plan and organize own workload under guidance from the Development Manager and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist with technical handovers, benchmarking competitor products, ingredient requests, trend analysis, customer presentations, organoleptic testing, and sending new products for nutritional/shelf-life testing as required.
Qualifications and requirements
- Educated to graduate standard β ideally in a food-related subject.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent planning, organization, and written abilities.
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and manage own deadlines.
- Project management capability with a proven track record of managing projects and gate stages.
- Creative thinker with proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Experience and knowledge of the food industry and environment.
- Computer literacy, including Word and Excel.
- Basic or above food hygiene knowledge.
Location: Sheffield. Travel to other company sites may be required.
