We have an exciting opportunity to join the Logistics and Distribution team at our Eurocentral distribution site as part of ‘Finsbury Food Group’. 135 years of craft baking skills lie behind the quality of the special branded cakes, sweet snacks and slices we produce in Hamilton and 55 million products are produced each year which are then distributed from Eurocentral.. Lightbody’s is the UK’s largest supplier of celebration cakes to UK retailers, with Disney, Mars, Universal and Thorntons all within the portfolio of branded cakes made under licence. We also make a variety of supermarkets’ well-loved own-label cakes and in-store bakery bites.

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Eurocentral. In this role, you will support the Shift Manager in the smooth, day-to-day running of the warehouse, working collaboratively to ensure all warehouse duties are completed to a high standard.
What you’ll actually do
Support the Shift Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse
Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely
Physically handle and scan stock/materials using handheld scanners
Put stock away and update locations in EFACS
Pick stock for work orders and process goods from pick lists
Complete accurate paperwork to match goods picked and delivered
Print and complete daily cycle counts using Infor M3 and Excel
Maintain accurate stock levels and traceability
Ensure proper stock rotation and uphold GMP standards
Prioritise and promote Health & Safety compliance at all times
Ideally, this is you
You have a valid Forklift Truck licence
You’ve worked in a warehouse or logistics environment before
You’re confident working with numbers and systems like EFACS, Infor M3, and Excel
You’re flexible, punctual, and always up for a team effort
Accuracy is your thing – you don’t cut corners when it comes to stock or paperwork
You take safety seriously and understand the importance of working by the book
You’re happy to adapt to different tasks and support where needed
