As we continue to grow our Customer Care Team at Finsbury Food Group, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Excellence Coordinator, as part of our larger Supply Chain Team.

Finsbury Food Group is a leading speciality bakery manufacturer. We constantly raise quality and efficiency standards, and build long-term relationships with major retailers and the foodservice channel. We produce a variety of baked goods including bread, cakes, buns, muffins, and treats, many of which are part of the UK\'s retail offerings. Baking brilliance makes every day special.

Job Purpose

Assist in the daily operations of the customer care process within the Supply Chain. Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing timely, accurate support to resolve inquiries, issues, and requests, ensuring a positive customer experience and high satisfaction.

Role Key Accountabilities

  1. Be the first point of contact for customer stock/transport queries.
  2. Process orders efficiently.
  3. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media professionally and courteously.
  4. Resolve product or service problems by clarifying complaints, determining causes, and offering solutions.
  5. Communicate effectively with third-party suppliers.
  6. Work to deadlines.
  7. Build strong relationships with other departments.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and share feedback.
  10. Stay updated on product knowledge, company updates, and industry best practices.
  11. Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
