Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Policy & Procedure Specialist to lead the review, redesign, and standardisation of finance policies, controls, and operational procedures across the organisation. This role will focus on building a scalable and compliant finance framework aligned with governance, audit, and regulatory requirements while improving consistency and efficiency across finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and enhance existing finance policies and procedures
- Develop standardised finance frameworks, SOPs, and process documentation
- Map current and future-state finance processes across key areas including P2P, O2C, R2R, treasury, tax, fixed assets, and financial planning
- Identify process gaps, risks, and control improvements
- Align procedures with audit, compliance, and internal control requirements
- Support implementation, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption
- Ensure alignment with ERP/finance systems and recommend control enhancements where required
Experience Required
- 5+ years’ experience in finance transformation, finance operations, or policy/procedure implementation
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, governance, audit, and compliance frameworks
- Experience documenting finance processes, SOPs, and controls
- ERP systems experience (Oracle or similar preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and change management skills
Preferred Background
- Experience in regulated environments
- SOX/internal controls exposure highly regarded
