Our client is a fast growth, luxury furniture brand selling to customers worldwide, but with a particular focus on growth in both UK and US markets. This role can be performed remotely with occasional travel to London.
This is a truly exciting time to join the business in a sole charge senior finance manager/head of finance position, reporting directly into an energetic and passionate founder.
The role will work closely with external accountants, but in the main run the end-to-end finances of a fast growth company. The role is ideal for someone with a passion for working in an international setting; with a global customer base, balanced with the craftsmanship in Asia. Being able to balance and co-ordinate different timezones and competing priorities is essential.
The role will include, but not limited to:
- Working directly with founder on all finance and accounting matters.
- Assisting with launching the brand in new target markets.
- Build reporting and analysis to be able to provide short & long term recommendations.
- Have a commercial mind-set to cash flow management.
- Core finance operations to include payroll, AP/AR, general bookkeeping.
- Relationship management for accountants to ensure all statutory and companies house filings are made in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Qualified accountant.
- Experience in luxury goods or manufacturing.
- Experience of working with a growth environment.
- Experience of running the core finance operations of a SME.
