Management Accountant in London

Our client is a boutique luxury retail brand based in London, looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their team.The role will work closely with the Finance Manager and would suit a part or newly-qualified accountant. The roles responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and reconciliations in a timely manner to meet monthly reporting timetable deadlines.Collaborate with the Finance Manager to streamline financial operations and implement strategic initiatives that enhance financial performance.Providing external auditors with supporting information and involvement in finalization of the statutory accounts under FRS 102.Prepare and ensure accurate UK VAT reporting and Global Sales tax compliance.Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls, recommending improvements where necessary.Work closely with departments to provide financial guidance and support. Ability to problem solve and implement improvements in cross-functional processes.Provide financial support and analysis for various projects and initiatives, for both the Finance Manager and Finance Director.The ideal candidate for this role will be:Part, or fully qualified accountant (ACA/CA, ACCA or CIMA).Experience of preparing monthly management accounts.Experience, or desire to work in a fast-paced, retail environment.Please note this role is a fully office-based position (i.e. 5 days per week).Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Finance and Accounting/AuditingIndustries Retail, Retail Apparel and Fashion, and Manufacturing
