We are supporting a high-end luxury property and travel company based in London who are looking to hire a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (3 or 4 days per week), to support continued business growth.
The company is multi-faceted in its operations, servicing high net-worth individuals on property and leisure offerings. The successful candidate will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain robust financial controls. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work remotely on designated days.
The key aspects of the role will be:
Core Financial Operations:
- Bookkeeping: Manage aged payables and receivables, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Payroll: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to all employees.
- Cash book to trial balance.
- Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and estate agency rules.
Strategic support:
- Support business growth with improving budgeting and forecasting processes.
The ideal candidate:
- Demonstratable experience of working in an SME.
- Running of a month-end process, as well as producing management reporting.
- Experience of working either property or leisure industry would be desirable.
This role will be a sole-charge position, reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with external candidates.
