The Role

This is a key commercial role at the heart of the finance team. As Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in providing financial insight and strategic guidance across the business. Working closely with stakeholders across operations, marketing, and leadership, you will own and drive analysis that supports decision-making, performance improvement, and growth.

You will take ownership of month-end and year-end processes, contribute to the 2026 budgeting process, and be instrumental in developing and embedding a new commercial tool aimed at enhancing financial insights and visibility across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, insight, and timeliness
  • Business partner with non-finance teams (especially operations) to provide clear financial guidance and challenge where needed
  • Produce robust analysis on trading performance, margin, and cost drivers to support commercial decisions
  • Lead the preparation of the 2026 budget and support forecasting processes throughout the year
  • Support and help drive the implementation of a new commercial finance tool, working cross-functionally to ensure it delivers actionable insight
  • Drive process improvements and support financial discipline as the business scales
  • Provide ad-hoc commercial analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders

About You

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a commercial finance role.
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to turn complex data into actionable insight
  • Excellent communication skills and confident engaging with non-finance stakeholders
  • Highly organised, hands-on and proactive – comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business
  • Ambitious, friendly, and a team player – ready to roll up your sleeves and make an impact
