Our client is a fast-growing renewable energy company, headquartered in London with projects across the UK.
To support continued growth, we are helping them hire a Finance Manager to support on an initial 3 month contract with potential to go permanent.
The key responsibilities of this role will include
- Management accounting and reporting for SPVs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support year-end audits, maintaining full compliance and transparency.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Lead the preparation and delivery of board packs with clear, insightful analysis.
- Record, classify, and reconcile all financial transactions to maintain accurate books.
- Produce supporting reports and reconciliations (ledgers, bank statements, invoices, payroll) to enable reliable financial reporting and decision-making.
- Collaboration & Strategic Support
- Collaborate with asset management, legal, and commercial teams to optimise project performance.
- Provide the leadership team with financial insights, scenario planning, and strategic support.
