Corporate Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and collaborative team, where you will manage client engagements, oversee transaction processes, and gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This position is ideal for a skilled professional with excellent Excel modelling capabilities , at least one year of M&A experience (preferably in Financial Services) , and a passion for corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Project Oversight
- Lead specific aspects of transaction projects, actively participating in client meetings and contributing to strategic and commercial discussions.
- Ensure risk management compliance in all assignments, adhering to firm policies and client engagement terms.
- Prepare, review, and refine key documents, including business plans, financial forecasts, and information memoranda, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Transaction Execution
- Work with senior colleagues to manage the end-to-end transaction process, ensuring project milestones are met and addressing issues proactively.
- Develop, review, and refine critical transaction documents such as financial models, Heads of Terms, and other essential materials.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their professional growth.
M&A Exposure
- Contribute to all stages of M&A transactions, including deal structuring, valuations, due diligence, negotiations, and completion.
- Assist in identifying acquisition targets and developing strategic recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate closely with senior team members to deliver innovative and client-specific solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in corporate finance with a strong track record in transaction execution. Candidates with an audit background will also be considered.
- At least one year of M&A experience , ideally within Financial Services.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced Excel modelling skills , with a strong aptitude for building and analysing complex financial models.
- Exceptional financial and numerical analysis capabilities, with a deep understanding of financial statements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial and strategic concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
