About You

  • Diligent Developer: You take a methodical approach to software engineering, ensuring that your work is robust, secure, and well‑documented.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on experience developing features across a modern technology stack—including languages like C#, GoLang, or Python—within cloud‑hosted ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Technically Curious: You are excited about expanding your skills across backend, frontend, cloud, and modern DevOps tools.
  • Collaborative Peer: You function effectively within cross‑functional teams, actively sharing knowledge, asking for help when needed, and supporting shared goals.
  • Effective Communicator: You possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to clearly articulate technical issues and absorb instruction from senior mentors.
  • Quality‑Focused: You don’t consider a feature "done" until it has strong unit test coverage and aligns with team coding standards.
  • Focused & Organized: You manage your assigned workload efficiently, prioritising your tasks effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Feature Development: Implementing new features and system components according to technical specifications and architectural guidance.
  • Debugging & Triage: Troubleshooting and resolving software bugs with a methodical, root‑cause‑driven debugging approach.
  • Upholding Code Quality: Maintaining high standards of code quality, writing thorough unit tests, and keeping system documentation up to date.
  • Consuming & Building APIs: Implementing established microservices patterns and working closely with RESTful API designs.
  • Supporting the Stack: Developing responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks while interacting with relational database backends.
  • Utilising CI/CD: Using modern deployment pipelines to ship code safely, reliably, and frequently into cloud‑hosted environments.
  • Continuous Growth: Constantly expanding your knowledge of our technology stack and contributing to best practices around security, performance, and testing.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working: We operate on a hybrid model that is primarily office‑based, requiring three days in the office each week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.

  • Flexible holiday package: Enjoy 25 days paid holiday allowance, plus all public holidays. You can rebook any public holidays for a day that aligns with your personal beliefs or celebration calendar. We also offer holiday trading allowing you to purchase or sell your holiday allowance.
  • Company pension scheme: With salary exchange, you save on tax and can build a secure future.
  • Employee assistance programme: We understand that mental health is just as important as physical health. Access to a 24/7 confidential counselling helpline ensures you have support when you need it.
