What will you be doing?

  • You will be supporting two software engineering teams working toward the same goal, ensuring they remain agile while staying predictable and meeting commitments.
  • You will coordinate with Client Delivery managers who run our client implementations (large enterprise SaaS).
  • You will coach and mentor teams on best practices around continual improvement, backlog management, working practices, and exploration techniques.
  • You will ensure all winning practices are sustainable and valuable.
  • You will have retros with actions owned and followed through.
  • You will manage stakeholders at all levels and communicate the true delivery picture.
  • You will drive pragmatic decision‑making while being firm about what is and isn’t possible.
  • You will manage risk and mitigation.
  • You will help own and manage budgets with the Director of Software Delivery Management.
  • You will shape a new team using XP, CI/CD, 'you build it, you run it', Serverless, TDD and similar modern practices.

  • You are confident supporting multiple engineering teams and helping new or forming teams establish effective delivery practices.
  • You thrive in modern engineering environments such as XP, CI/CD, TDD, serverless, 'you build it, you run it'.
  • You are a natural coach who helps teams improve backlog management, working practices, exploration techniques, and follow‑through on retrospectives.
  • You communicate clearly and transparently with stakeholders at all levels and ensure teams understand the true delivery picture.
  • You make pragmatic, evidence‑based decisions and balance ambition with predictability and sustainable practices.
  • You are proactive in managing risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
  • You have experience supporting or managing budgets and understand the commercial impact of delivery decisions.
  • You enjoy using facilitation techniques (e.g. Google Design Sprints, Event Storming, Jobs To Be Done) to drive clarity and alignment.
  • You are passionate about delivering great software, fostering a positive team culture, and making the delivery process engaging and enjoyable.
